Do I pay anything to use a mortgage broker?
No. Our home loan service is free to you. The lender pays us a commission once your loan settles, and we disclose the amount before you go ahead.
How much deposit do I need?
Usually 5–20% of the price. Less than 20% typically means lenders mortgage insurance, unless you're eligible for a government scheme such as the 5% Deposit Scheme. We'll check what you qualify for.
Can you help if I'm self-employed?
Yes. Many lenders accept two years of tax returns, and some offer alternative documentation options. We match you to lenders whose policy suits your income.
How often should I review my home loan?
At least once a year. Lenders often give new customers sharper rates than existing ones, so we check yours annually at no cost.
Can we meet outside business hours?
Yes. We know most people work during the day, so we offer evening and weekend appointments, in person, by phone or on video, wherever you are in Australia.
What should I bring to the first meeting?
Recent payslips or tax returns, bank statements, details of any debts and photo ID. Bring what you have and we'll tell you what's missing.
